What is the difference between a seed phrase and a private key?

Both are sensitive credentials. A seed phrase can commonly recover a set of accounts, while a private key controls a specific account. Neither should be sent to anyone.

Why must I verify the network before a transfer?

Similar addresses can exist on different networks, and assets can be represented by different contracts. Verifying both networks reduces transfer mistakes.

What is gas?
